Denotations and connotations extension task

What we can see in this print advert is penguins gradually fading away to show less and less until they start falling, the use of black and white, and writing at the bottom saying "see the reality before it's too late". This is a play on the fact the entire poster is an optical illusion, the white serves contrast against the black and shows hope where the black shows death. Lastly the penguins seem to go from being together in a happy looking state to falling which might represent their death, this helps represent the message that we must help save penguins from this.
